Sir William Osler High School

Powerful ● Passionate ● Progressive

Sir William Osler High School offers a unique and caring setting for students with a Developmental Disability (DD) or a Mild Intellectual Disability (MID) exceptionality. At Osler, our staff provide a warm, welcoming environment with a supportive and collaborative approach to create a rich and dynamic experience where students can grow. Sir William Osler provides social and academic programming for students of all abilities, with a goal to build life skills and employability skills. Students are accepted to the school through the Identification Placement and Review Committee (IPRC) process and may remain at Osler until they turn 21 years of age. Students work toward a Certificate of Accomplishment through the non-credit program.

Sir William Osler High School offers a wide variety of program options including hands on employability shop classes. These include commercial food school with a restaurant services component, horticulture, auto and carpentry shops. Our Life Skills program includes our Multi-Sensory Room, Simulated Apartment classroom, and Simulated Grocery Store classroom. Programs are enhanced with our in-school and out of school cooperative classes when possible.
